COME ALONG IN YOUR P6 TO THE CLUB’S WONDERFUL DRIVE IT DAY OUTING TO THE SUPERB BICESTER HERITAGE SITE IN OXFORDSHIRE. The P6ers from the Case is Altered invite all Club members to join us. We will be driving 54 miles. Maybe you will drive further!
MASSES OF CLASSIC CARS, ALL WORKSHOPS OPEN ETC ETC . HAVE A FABULOUS DAY OUT.
The wonderful Bicester Heritage is on the site of the second world war Bomber Command airfield just north of Bicester. People arrive by vintage aeroplane or vintage / classic car. There are so many things to see that this is a very popular event and early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
I have registered the Rover P6 Club and arranged for our display area to be adjacent to those of the Rover Sports Register and the Rover Coupe Club so all 3 clubs are together in one large shared area (but with separate club name markers) where we can mingle with each other and where you will be able to meet our friends from the other two clubs. Another advantage of this is that in the unlikely event that one of the clubs has less than 10 Rover Classic cars attending the total number of cars from the three clubs will be the figure used to determine whether we have 10 or more cars and qualify for a “shared” club stand. Last time we went to Bicester Heritage on Drive it Day we had 18 P6s. Numbers of P6s going to our annual Drive it day outing vary historically from about 15 to 40 P6s. If you can make it we are meeting at Oxford Services (M40 Junction 8A, Postcode OX33 1JN) ready to leave there together at 8.40 am sharp for the 20 Minute Drive to Bicester Heritage. I plan to arrive at Oxford Services about 8.15am for a roll and coffee.

The advance online club offer is 50% off the normal gate price of £10 per person making a Club Member ticket £5 per person (plus an online booking service charge). Under 16s accompanied by an adult ticket holder are free of charge and a standard advance online adult ticket is £8 (plus the service charge). Club ticket sales close at midnight on Sunday 21st April 2019 (subject to availability). This is a first come first served event with limited club area space so book asap to avoid disappointment
